Why Ascentec plants ?
Our long lasting experience during design and construction of several thousand heaters provide security and routine of our work.
A short overview of our services and competences:
- Construction of heating media oil heating system (or thermal oil heater, thermo oil heater) within the power range of 50 – 25,000 kW for temperatures up to 405ºC
- Special calculation programs and optimized calculation procedures lead to that the oil-sided and flue gas-sided resistances of the heater can be kept at a minimum during greatest possible efficiency factors
- Stress-less construction of tube systems in the heater lead to save and durable
- Heaters without feared “tube cross section”
- By the application of cooled reverse panels (so-called “wet back”) not only the heating area in the heater will be extended, but moreover the heater is resistant against vibrations and shocks. This is especially beneficial with ships. A major repair of the lining, which presents a wear part, is omitted completely by the cooled reverse panel. A durability of 30 years is hereby not an uncommonness
- For the inspection and cleaning of the heating pipes in the radiation- as well as in the convection section the front panel of the heater can be completely dismantled. Hereby the combustion chamber and the flue throttle cables are freely accessible and can be cleaned easily
- With horizontal heaters the front panel can also be designed as an easily opening door (option)
- With high-quality braided ceramics seals and their constructive embedding in the heater lid a dense closing of the combustion chamber after each inspection is guaranteed
- The special saddle foot construction at the horizontal heater provides stretching possibility within the “heating system”. A fixing by welding or mounting of the heater at the base, i.e. at the bottom of the ship, is thereby possible without stretching problems
- Cleaning opening in the area of the flue gas collection chamber (option)
- Display glass for flame observation through the lid panel as well as through the bottom panel (option)
- Possibility of emptying the complete content of the heat transfer plant with vertical boiler
- Possibility of blowing out the heat transfer plant by respective valve combination (option)
- Protection tube resp. diaphragm plate in the area of the pass through of the flow and return tubes by the heater shield prevents continuous load breakage of the tubes at these points
- Generous stretcher loops for light transport and assembling
- Large dimensioned tracks allow easy insertion by the aid of roller dollies in the boiler housing
